The National Ossolineum Institute in Wroclaw “Ossolineum” has published scans of several yearbooks of the first Lviv newspapers from 1776–1805.

Franco-speaking “Gazette de Leopol” for the first time was published on January 15, 1776 in Anton Pillier's printing house. She informed about political news in European countries, events in Lviv and from the Russian Ukraine.

After his death in 1780, the printing house was continued by his wife Josefina Pillier, who started publishing “Pismo Uwiadamiajance Galicyi”. The following year, the publication began to be called “Lwowskie Pismo Uwiadamiajance”. In 1786, Josefina started publishing the German weekly “Lemberger Wochentliche Anzeigen”, which was published until 1796, and the Polish publication “Lwowskie Tygodniowe Wiadomości”, which ceased to exist in 1788 .
“Lemberger Kaiserlich-Königliches Intelligenz-Blatt” was published in 1796–1811, and in 1792–1798 – the weekly “Dziennik Patryoticznych Politykow w Lwowie”< /strong>.
