American pop singer Taylor Swift became the first woman in the music industry to become a billionaire thanks to her songs and performances.

Forbes magazine published its annual ranking of the richest musicians world.

According to the publication, the net worth of the 34-year-old popular American singer Taylor Swift was $1.6 billion. She ranks 2,120th in the ranking of the richest people in the world and 1st among female musicians. In the overall ranking of the richest musicians, Swift is ahead only of the rapper Jay-Z, the husband of Beyoncé, whose fortune is estimated at $2.5 billion.

Taylor Swift became a billionaire in October 2023 thanks to the income from her Eras tour and the value of her music directory. In this way, Swift became the first female musician who entered the billionaire ranking mainly thanks to her songs and performances.
