What else is known

On the inside, the Samsung Galaxy S25 is expected to get a big boost in power thanks to the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chip. However, the base version of the S25 could be equipped with the Dimensity 9400 chip instead of Snapdragon 8 Gen 4. One source claims that the S25 Ultra will be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chip, while the base version of the S25 will switch to the Dimensity 9400 chip.

It turns out that the Dimensity 9400 chip costs 20 percent less than Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Gen 4. This allows Samsung to keep the base price of the Galaxy S25 low. Thus, Samsung decides to expand the list of chip suppliers to cope with the rising cost of components, including chips.
