Dubai airline Emirates Airlines has banned passengers from carrying pagers and walkie-talkies on its flights after last month members of the Lebanese group "Hezbollah" communications devices exploded.

«All passengers traveling to, from or through Dubai are prohibited from carrying pagers and walkie-talkies in checked or carry-on baggage» , – the airline said in a statement published on its website on Friday.

The airline added that all detected prohibited items will be confiscated by the Dubai Police as part of heightened security measures.
