Lithuania purchased additional NASAMS medium-range air defense systems worth 234 million euros.

He added that the increase in defense funding has made it possible to speed up the acquisition, which is scheduled for 2031.
In addition, this week Lithuania also signed a contract to acquire the RBS70 NG short-range air defense system (MSHORAD), the cost of which is about 130 million euros.
