"Volia"/ICSC
On the Algarve beach in Portugal, the sand artist Vitor Raposo depicted the “Volia” carving, which he dedicated to the defenders of Ukraine.
This was reported in the Ministry's telegram channel of culture and strategic communications of Ukraine.
On the occasion of the Day of Defenders of Ukraine on October 1, the Portuguese artist Vitor Raposo created a work of sand on the coast. With this work, he wanted to thank those who defend the freedom of Ukraine, as well as to talk about the will as a unique strength of Ukrainians.
Note that this is Vitor's seventh work on the beaches of the Algarve, dedicated to Ukraine.
Our philosophy and ability to make the impossible possible thanks to our will not only tells the world more about us, Ukrainians. This lifestyle has the potential to become popular among millions of foreigners as a motivation to overcome difficulties and move forward, added the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.

Instead of painting on canvas, artist Vitor Raposo uses sand at Praia Maria Luísa in the Algarve. There he creates beautiful drawings, which are then washed away by the ocean.
With no formal art training, Victor uses simple garden tools to create patterns and sculptures in the sand. Locals and tourists admire the works: his Instagram page now has nearly 36,000 followers, making the artist a local celebrity.
