Winter twists: pickled pepper in mustard from Olga Ryabenko

Ukrainian chef Olga Ryabenko decided to share her secret recipes. She prepared pickled peppers in mustard.

Ingredients:

  • Sweet pepper – 1.2 kg;
  • Water – 200 ml;
  • Oleina oil with herbs, garlic, basil – 150 ml;
  • Sugar – 3 tbsp. l;
  • Salt – 1 tbsp. l;
  • Scented ground pepper – 1 tsp;
  • Bay leaf – 2-3 pieces;
  • Mild mustard – 200 g;
  • Mustard in grains – 50 g;
  • Turmeric – 1 tsp. l.

Method of preparation:

1. Clean and cut the peppers into medium pieces.

2. Pour water and oil into a saucepan, add sugar, salt, spices and two types of mustard. Bring the mixture to a boil and cook for 5 minutes.

3. Add chopped peppers and cook for another 15 minutes.

4. Place the peppers in sterilized jars, close the lids, turn upside down and let cool.

5. It turns out 3 cans of 500 ml each. Store at room temperature.
