The American company General Atomics has presented a full-scale model of a disposable unmanned fighter

Apparently, all advanced armies of the world pay great attention to the development of unmanned systems, since the war in Ukraine showed their effectiveness and irreplaceability in the conditions of modern combat operations.< /p>

Some time ago there was a successful test of the X-62A VISTA unmanned aircraft based on the F-16, but American engineers do not stop there and continue to develop new models of unmanned aircraft.

This fighter is being developed as part of the Collaborative Combat Aircraft (CCA) program of the US Air Force and is based on the XQ-67A1 prototype.

The main purpose of such aircraft — supplementing the Air Force with relatively cheap disposable robotic fighters that can perform multiple tasks while reducing risks for pilots.

The presented unmanned fighter, equipped with advanced technologies, is planned to be able to perform various tasks, including reconnaissance, attack, support and escort of manned combat aircraft without the participation of a pilot.

Experts in the field of military aviation and technology see great potential in this technology and believe that unmanned fighters from General Atomics will be able to change the concept of modern aviation.

Secretary of the US Air Force Frank Kendall (Frank Kendall) noted that despite all the prospects of such technologies, they present a number of risks, the exception of which will be the need for strict control so that the machines do not start shooting down allied planes and do not cause unjustified actions.
