The United States will transfer to Ukraine AGM-154 Joint Standoff Weapon (JSOW) cruise bombs, which can be easily converted into long-range cruise missiles. Oleg Katkov, the editor-in-chief of the military media Defense Express, told about this on Radio NV.
JSOW were usually considered planning bombs capable of covering a distance of 100−120 km. However, at the end of the 2000s, by order of the Pentagon, the possibility of integrating a miniature jet engine was developed, which significantly increases their range.

According to Katkov, this can be an “elegant plan”. the USA regarding the provision of long-range weapons to Ukraine, without violating the "red lines" that they set.
It is also stated that the USA will provide Ukraine with a new package of military aid, which will include JSOW and other weapons important for the successful struggle of Ukraine.
