The National Film Critics Award “Kinokolo”, which will be held for the seventh time this year, announced the applicants for awards. Zhanna Ozirnaya's tape “Honeymoon” won the largest number of nominations (5).

This was announced by the organizers of the Seventh National Award.

The leaders in terms of the number of nominations were also the paintings “Editorial” by Roman Bondarchuk, “Grey Bees” by Dmytro Moiseev and < strong>“Lessons of tolerance” Arkadia Nepytalyuk – four nominations each.

This year, the awards will be presented in 11 categories: for the first time, the best feature and short documentary films will be chosen in two separate categories. The winners will be announced at the award ceremony on the opening day of the “Kyiv Criticism Week” festival – October 17. The event will also be broadcast on the TV channel and on the YouTube channel “Social Culture”.

National Award of Film Critics “Kinokolo” – the annual award, established in 2018, which determines the achievements of Ukrainian cinematography and film industry figures over the past year on behalf of the community of film critics of Ukraine. The winners of the award are determined by the Committee of the National Film Critics Award.

It consists of film critics and film experts who are members of the Union of Film Critics of Ukraine and/or the International Federation of Film Press (FIPPRESSI). Currently, the committee has 61 members. In previous years, the best films were “La Palisade” by Philip Sotnichenko, “Pamphyr” by Dmytro Sukholitky-Sobchuk, “Stop Earth” by Kateryna Gornostay, “Atlantis” by Valentin Vasyanovich, “Home” by Nariman Aliyev.
