Russia has launched a secret program in China to develop and produce long-range attack drones for use in the war against Ukraine.

According to the report, the Harpy-3; can fly about 2000 km with a payload of 50 kg. "Harpy-3" and some other models of drones produced in China were delivered to Izhevsk for further testing with the involvement of Chinese specialists. The plant has accepted the supply of seven models of drones, as evidenced by the invoices.

Within eight months, the enterprise will be ready to start production of the REM 1 shock drone of Chinese development with a payload capacity of up to 400 kg. This technology will be an analogue of the American Reaper drone.

The documents do not specify where exactly in China the drone factory linked to Russia is located. But it says that production will occupy 80 hectares and will be designed to produce 800 drones per year.
