U.S. prosecutors provided information on the cell phone of the suspect in the attempted assassination of Trump

The investigation into the assassination attempt on the former president continues.

U.S. prosecutors investigating the second assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump, allege that the suspect's cell phone repeatedly connected to cell towers near Trump's golf club and his Florida home between Aug. 18 and Sept. 15, according to a court filing filed today, Reuters writes.

Prosecutors also claim to have found a list of dates and places where Trump was expected to be.

Recall that on September 15, shots rang out near the golf club in Florida where Trump was playing . The former president was not injured. The US Secret Service quickly detained the suspect. He turned out to be 58-year-old Ryan Wesley Root. During his arrest, two backpacks and a GoPro camera were found in his possession, and an AK-47 assault rifle was found in the bushes near the scene of the incident.
