On Friday, September 20, customs officers detained the first batch of contraband iPhone 16. This happened on the border with Romania. There, a Ukrainian woman tried to smuggle two iPhone 16 pro max into Ukraine.

It is known that the incident happened at the checkpoint “Popubne-Siret”, which is located on the border with Romania. A Ukrainian woman tried to transfer an iPhone 16 pro max, which she did not declare to the customs authority, through a pedestrian crossing.

According to this fact, a protocol was drawn up on her for violation of customs rules. Both gadgets have been removed. Their value is estimated at more than 160 thousand hryvnias.
