“I will ban the resettlement of refugees from terror-torn areas like Gaza, and we will close our border and bring back the travel ban,” Trump said Thursday in Washington at an event with billionaire Republican donor Miriam Adelson.

Trump's remarks came at an event focused on combating anti-Semitism as he seeks to expand his outreach to Jewish voters ahead of the November election.

Throughout the speech, Trump frequently said his support for Israel should lead to better political support for Jews among Americans. In the end, he ended by expressing his belief in the destruction of Israel if he loses the elections.
