Leak data showed the characteristics of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor

In October, the release of new generations of mobile processors Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 and MediaTek Dimensity 9400 is expected. The MediaTek Dimensity 9400 processor will also have eight cores: one Cortex-X5 core clocked at 3.63 GHz, three Cortex- X4 with a frequency of 2.8 GHz and four Cortex-A7xx cores with a frequency of 2.1 GHz. Graphics chip — Arm Immortalis G925 MC12. Interestingly, MediaTek uses a new core, but the middle cores will remain the previous ones. Unlike the Dimensity 9300, where all the cores were state-of-the-art, you shouldn't expect a significant increase in multi-threaded performance, but you can count on improved energy efficiency and stability.
