3 good reasons to turn off Wi-Fi on your phone at night

Phone owners often do not have the habit of turning off Wi-Fi on their phones at night, although most experts advise doing so. However, this recommendation is quite justified.

Expert of the itechua site Mykhailo Mytnyk told why it is still worth turning off Wi-Fi on your phone at night. He gave three good reasons to do so.

1. Turning off Wi-Fi significantly extends your phone's battery life. When Wi-Fi is inactive, your device uses less power, allowing you to charge your phone less often and preserve battery capacity for a longer time.

2. Turning off Wi-Fi increases your device's security and saves resources. When it is active, there is a risk that your phone will automatically connect to potentially unsafe networks. Additionally, turning off your Wi-Fi router at night not only extends its lifespan, but also helps save energy.

3. Turning off Wi-Fi significantly improves your night's rest. When Wi-Fi is active, constant notifications and messages can be a banal distraction from sleep.
