Another agent of Lebedev's "military corps" sentenced to 15 years in Mykolaiv

A court has sentenced a resident of Mykolaiv, who worked for the Russian FSB and filmed propaganda stories for the Russian resource «RIA Novosti», to 15 years in prison. This was reported by the SBU press service.

In particular, according to the investigation, the woman filmed two industrial facilities that the Russians attacked with kamikaze drones in 2023.

The investigation established that the woman worked for the FSB through a native of Mykolaiv, Sergey Lebedev, nicknamed “Shaggy”, who is hiding in Donetsk. There he acts as an FSB agent under the guise of a freelance correspondent for «RIA Novosti».

Lebedev used the videos sent by the woman to create fake stories that were supposed to discredit the Ukrainian Defense Forces before an international audience.

SBU officers detained the agent in August 2023 at her place of residence. During the search, a mobile phone with evidence of her cooperation with the FSB was seized. The perpetrator was awaiting sentencing while in custody.

The court found the woman guilty of high treason committed under martial law (Part 2, Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

Recall that in July 2024, a «military» was sentenced in absentia in Ukraine to 15 years in prison with confiscation of property for high treason Sergey Lebedev (pseudonym «Lokhmaty»).

Lebedev is a native of Mykolaiv. Since 2014, he has been in temporarily occupied Donetsk.

According to the investigation, Lebedev works for the FSB as a «freelance military correspondent» for the Moscow news agency «RIA Novosti» and carries out tasks for the Russian special service in several areas.

He collected intelligence on the Defense Forces and corrected air attacks on the civilian infrastructure of Ukraine. To do this, Lebedev recruited informants he found on his own Telegram channel with a total audience of over 30,000 subscribers.

In June of this year, the SBU exposed him for intelligence and subversive activities against Ukraine and reported him on suspicion of treason.

On the instructions of the FSB, Lokhmaty remotely created his own agent network in the Mykolaiv region. He recruited 13 residents of this region among the subscribers of his Telegram channel.

The court has already handed down six sentences against members of this FSB agent network. In particular, one of Lebedev's informants received nine years in prison.
