The US is increasing the production of missiles: the Pentagon promises to give some of them to Ukraine

The Pentagon signed a $253.7 million contract with Williams International to increase production of key types of missiles. The department said that part of these missiles will be handed over to Ukraine. It is noted that these efforts support the goals of the national defense industrial strategy until 2024 to expand domestic production and ensure sustainable supply chains.

Details

In particular, production will be increased:

  • JASSM long-range air-to-surface missile;
  • LRASM long-range anti-ship missiles;
  • high-precision Tomahawk cruise missiles.
