Russia has launched another information campaign to destabilize Moldova

The statements of Russian intelligence that Moldovan President Maia Sandu allegedly gave the order to prepare a military operation in Transnistria are another information operation against Ukraine's neighboring state with the aim of destabilizing the situation in the region.

This was reported by the Center for Countering Disinformation.

It is noted that the Russian intelligence agency claims that at a recent meeting in Chisinau, the issue of stopping gas transit through Ukraine and a possible seizure of Transnistrian objects. 

“In fact, official Chisinau has not confirmed any such plans. This is another Russian disinformation aimed at inciting conflicts and creating tension between neighboring countries”, – the CPD emphasized.
