My wife Natalia was perfect, we spent 60 years together.

Real-Life Story: "My Daughter Is Ungrateful": She Threw Me Into a Nursing Home and My Dog Out on the Street. I Taught Her a Fatherly Lesson

She was very nice, compassionate, with a big heart. I won't praise myself, but I'm not a bad person either. So where does such a bad, ungrateful daughter come from?

This question has been bothering me for a long time. Natalka left us four years ago and after that day my life changed dramatically. I didn't get along with my daughter, but not only with her, but with the whole family, or rather they didn't get along with me.

My son-in-law turned my daughter against me, but he wasn't the only one to blame. If my daughter loved and respected me, she would never have treated me like that – “Get out of this house”, I heard.

“The apartment is small and you're bothering us, and your grandchildren don't like you,” my daughter told me. “Grandpa, you're greedy and evil, you don't love us because you don't let us live freely,” my oldest grandson told me. I was very offended that they had started to turn the children against me. After thinking about it for a while, I came to the conclusion that the best solution would be to leave, just like my daughter had said.

She made an appointment with the nursing home and four days later I was there. I gave her the condition that she had to take care of my dog and not throw it out on the street. She promised, and I left. In the nursing home, I met a woman with whom I started talking every day. I started to like her and we went for a walk in the park together every evening. One day in the park I saw my ex-neighbor who told me a story that almost stopped my heart.

-Your daughter didn't tell me she was sending you here. She also threw out your dog, but don't worry, we'll take care of it. She's also selling your house. You have an ungrateful daughter – the neighbor told me.

– But the house is mine, how dare she sell it and how did she manage to throw the dog out of the house? – With the help of the neighbor I contacted the appropriate authorities and left her with nothing. I sold my house and bought a cozy little house in the village, and I also took a woman I met in the nursing home to live with me.

We started living together: me, Ela and my dog. I didn't ask what happened to my daughter, but whatever happened, she had to go through it. Let her know what it means to disrespect your parents.

Don't miss: From life. “My brother sold the family home”: Even though he promised we would share it

Take a look: From real life. “My daughter said I have no right to see my grandchildren”: And I was the one who helped her when she became a single mother
