A new domestically produced battleship will appear in the Armed Forces of Ukraine

The Ukrainian army has received a new domestically produced “Oncilla-Shturm” armored personnel carrier to perform various missions on the battlefield. The operation of this vehicle has been approved by a special commission of the Ministry of Defense.

The novelty is designed for a crew of three people and six paratroopers. The vehicle is equipped with an automatic transmission and a turbodiesel. This tandem provides good speed and excellent cross-country ability. A full tank lasts for more than 700 km.

The “Oncilla-Shturm” armor protects against bullets, shrapnel and explosions under the wheels. The vehicle is equipped with a tire inflation system, power steering, air conditioning with heating, automatic fire extinguishing system, filter ventilation and a winch. A remotely controlled combat module with a large-caliber machine gun is installed on board.

The APC can be produced in different versions. The Ministry of Defense called the vehicle “an example of Ukraine's progress in creating modern equipment for performing complex combat missions”.
