Magda Gessler is undoubtedly a member of the pantheon of Polish gastronomy.

Magda Gessler's Christmas catering costs a fortune. Restaurateur's son responds to harsh criticism

As the host of the program “Kuchenne rewolucje”, she gained recognition as an impulsive culinary expert who not only evaluates but also changes the face of local restaurants. Her unique approach to cooking and passion for cooking attract crowds of fans.

Prices of Christmas dishes and Tadeusz Müller's reaction

In addition to her television career, Magda Gessler runs her own restaurants, where you can taste appetizing dishes. Her catering offer, including Christmas dishes, is controversial due to its high prices. For example, five pierogi with cabbage and boletus cost as much as PLN 51, and 900 ml of mushroom soup costs around PLN 83. Red borscht costs 67 zlotys, and when we calculate the price of a portion of pierogi, we realize that the price of one at Magda Gessler's costs 10.10 zlotys.

Her son, Tadeusz Müller, decided to respond to the criticism regarding prices, standing in defense of his mother.

Criticism is raising the issue and talking about a certain place. Not all places are “democratic”. I am more democratic, more “from the people”, and my mother runs more prestigious places, which are also needed on the market and also have their customers […] – he announced.

He emphasized that the quality and uniqueness of the dishes are worth their price, and the passion with which Magda creates her dishes deserves recognition.

If you want to ask me why these products cost so much, then they are simply premium class. This is a premium shelf and there is no point in arguing with that. They are certainly not expensive without reason. If we make borscht, we have a very small “yield” compared to an average restaurant, where it is also tasty, cool, but more diluted – assured the restaurateur's son.
