The "Diya" application launches a beta test of new services for veterans and their families: how to get involved

Ukrainians are offered to test new services in “Diya” for war veterans and their families. The status of a person with a disability as a result of war and the status of a family member of a deceased veteran will be available online.

This is reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to “Diya”.

The Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine has launched beta testing of two new services on the “Diya” portal, which simplify the processing of important documents for war veterans and their families. The innovations are aimed at relieving people of bureaucratic obstacles and helping them obtain the necessary statuses as quickly as possible.

What is being tested

  • Status of a person with a disability as a result of war. This service is available to veterans who have a certificate of participation in hostilities and a certificate of disability from the Ministry of Social Security.
  • Status of a person as a family member of a deceased (deceased) war veteran The service is available to family members of deceased defenders of Ukraine: husbands, wives, fathers, sons or daughters.

New services allow:

  • Reduce the time for processing documents.
  • Protect against possible errors and forgeries.
  • Simplify procedures, making them convenient and accessible.

Beta testing is a chance to be the first to use the services and help improve them for all Ukrainians.

How join

  • If you are a war veteran and have the appropriate documents, apply for testing the status of a person with a disability.
  • If you are a family member of a deceased veteran, join the testing of the status of a family member.
