The law provides for the use of electronic identifiers for military records.
The Verkhovna Rada adopted draft law No. 12066, which provides for the creation of a single register of servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the State Service of Special Transport. It was supported by 254 deputies.
People's deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak informed about this.
The register will become an information system for collecting, recording, protecting and updating data on the military.
It will store the following data: full name, date of birth, digitized facial image, marital status, data on military documents and a unique number from the demographic register. Automatic assignment of an electronic identifier (Military ID) is also provided for unambiguous identification of military personnel and data exchange without the use of personal information.
The system will be integrated with the electronic health care system to access the results of medical examinations. The military will be able to get access to special discounts, loyalty programs and new services, in particular through the Army+ platform.
