South Korean startup Ecopeace has unveiled high-tech water purification solutions, including the Ecobot robots and the Healing Boat, an autonomous vessel that uses artificial intelligence and runs on solar energy.
Healing Boat — it is an autonomous vessel capable of purifying up to 2.5 million liters of water per day, combining the functions of an ecological purifier and a platform for recreation. The vessel, whose design is inspired by the shape of natural pebbles, offers 30-minute tours with informational presentations during the day and transforms into a floating food court and event area at night. This development has been nominated for a CES Innovation Award 2025, highlighting its importance for sustainable water management.
Ecobot robots — compact devices (5×5 m) that filter from 100,000 to 500,000 liters of water every day. They are equipped with artificial intelligence to analyze eight parameters of water quality in real-time, allowing rapid detection and elimination of contamination. The robots work autonomously, using solar energy, and can function in different conditions.
Ecopeace also created a lake station capable of purifying 5 to 12 million liters of water per day. These technologies demonstrate the potential to ensure sustainable management of freshwater resources and improve the ecological situation in various regions.
The integration of ecological functions with aesthetics and commercial possibilities makes Ecopeace developments unique. The use of innovations based on AI and renewable energy sources opens new horizons for solving global problems related to water pollution.
