Odesa barista Angela recorded a stream with statements about her loyalty to the Russian Federation and that there is no point in fighting, according to videos from social networks. The police opened a case for collaboration.
Russian propagandists spread a video from Odessa, in which 18-year-old blogger Angela spoke about her attitude to the war of the Russian Federation. The girl said that there was no point in fighting and she did not mind living under the rule of Moscow. The barista's employer reacted to such statements and, among other things, she had to apologize. The Main Directorate of the National Police of the Odessa Region also commented on the incident and reported the opening of criminal proceedings. The press service reported about the details of the case and the article that incriminates the Odessans on the police portal.
Scandalous video of a blogger-barista
The Telegram channel “Odessa Overheard” talked about Angela's video. The publication appeared at 4 p.m. on December 10. The author of the post reported that the girl is broadcasting on TikTok, during which she calls on people to submit to events and not to fight against the Russian Federation. According to the barista, the main thing is that “there should be peace and that no one kills anyone.”
What is the police's reaction to the statement of the TikTok blogger from Odessa
Law enforcement officers responded to the video on social networks: they heard the girl say that she did not object to being under the rule of the Russian Federation and that it was not worth fighting for her homeland. On November 13, a message appeared on the Odessa police portal that criminal proceedings had been opened under Part 1 of Article 111-1 of the Criminal Code – collaboration (punishment for engaging in certain types of activity for 10-15 years).
The press service of the department reported that the barista was found by a district inspector and she explained why she made anti-Ukrainian statements. According to her, this was done “to attract attention.” The investigation continues, according to the National Police portal.
If you go to Angela's TikTok, you can see a series of videos in which she listens to songs by Russian artists (similar to the AK-47 band). The most recent video on this topic was published on December 13.
What the employer said
Meanwhile, on December 11, other footage of Angela appeared on the channel. It is indicated that the recording was made at the Coffe Lounge coffee shop (Odessa, Serednofontanska Street), where she worked as a barista. You can hear the blogger apologizing for her words, assuring that she supports the Armed Forces of Ukraine and will donate to support the Ukrainian army. The author of the post also assures that the girl has been released.
“They were throwing gifts at me, they were throwing donations at me, I thought I should continue, and it went completely wrong. I want to apologize,” — you can hear in the video.
