A Ternopil resident lost over 147,000 hryvnias trying to purchase a backup power system

The next victim of an online scammer was a 35-year-old resident of Ternopil, who lost over 147,000 hryvnias.

According to the police, the man found an ad for the sale of an inverter and batteries on one of the online platforms. The seller assured that he would be able to send the equipment only after full prepayment. The buyer trusted the conditions and transferred the specified amount to his bank account. After receiving the money, the fraudster disappeared, and the promised goods never arrived.
Currently, operational and investigative measures are underway to identify the perpetrator.
