Netflix star dies at 37 after suffering mysterious illness

The actor posted on Instagram until June of this year, until it became known about the young man's serious illness.

Netflix star Jose de la Torre has died at the age of 37 – a few months after telling fans he was suffering from a serious illness.

As the British tabloid The Daily Mail writes, the photogenic actor played Ivan in the popular series “Toy Boy”, a Spanish thriller about a stripper who goes to prison for a murder he did not commit.

José, from Montilla in the Spanish province of Córdoba, has also modeled for a number of jewelry and fashion brands.

He reportedly died on Thursday, December 5, and his funeral took place the following day.

In June, the actor was diagnosed with an unspecified “serious illness”, which kept him away from public attention.

De la Torre was most famous for his role as Ivan, one of the main characters in the series “That Fight”, which was released in 2019 and lasted for two seasons.

He also starred in a number of other domestic series, including “Love Forever”, “Vis a Vis: El Oasis” and “Servir y proteger”.
