Changed Ukrainian mail to hostile mail: Izyum resident could get 12 years behind bars

A 46-year-old resident of Izyum  for managing mail under the occupiers may receive up to 12 years behind bars or a ban on certain activities for up to 15 years and confiscation of property.

Former employee of «Ukrposhta» voluntarily took up the position of «head of the postal service department of the CP «Pochta Izyuma». This was reported by the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office.

The collaborator was involved in organizing the distribution of local propaganda publications «Izyumsky telegraph», «Kharkov Z» and «Krasnaya zvezda», where the Russian troops were called «liberators», and historical facts were distorted in favor of the enemy. After the de-occupation, the accused tried to escape from the investigation in Kyiv, but she was exposed.
