How can I switch my phone to another operator if I lose connection?

Due to the ongoing rocket attacks, there may be problems with mobile communication in some regions of Ukraine, you need to be ready at such a moment.

In such conditions, it is important to remember how to connect to national roaming and use the coverage of other operators.

To use the service, you must manually select a different operator's network by disabling the automatic network selection function. This can be done in the settings of your mobile device: on Android in the “Settings” section – “Mobile network” or “Connections” – “Operator”, and on iOS in “Settings” – “Cellular data” – “Network selection”.

If the connection fails the first time, it is recommended to try again or select another operator. It is also worth checking whether the flight mode is activated on your smartphone and, if necessary, restart the device.

If after performing these steps there is still no connection, it is recommended to send a text message, as it requires fewer resources. To optimize your connection usage, you can turn off mobile Internet and use Wi-Fi or landline if possible.

An important point is that national roaming is charged according to your operator's tariff plan, so there will be no additional costs for using the services of other networks.

National roaming, however, increases the load on operator networks, so to improve the quality of communication, it is recommended to disable automatic file downloads in messengers. This can be done in the application settings.

As an alternative, you can use offline messengers that work without the Internet via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth.
