In Volyn, a man reported on the work of employees of the territorial recruitment center. To do this, he created a group on Viber.

This is stated in the court verdict published in the Unified State Register of Court Decisions.

Case Details

A native of the village of Goluby created a group on Viber on September 16 to help fellow villagers avoid mobilization. Almost 14 thousand people have joined the community. The man reported the direction of travel and specified the cars in which the military were.

During the court hearing, he fully admitted his guilt and concluded a plea agreement with the prosecutor.

What the court decided

The court found the man guilty of obstructing the lawful activities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He was given a two-year suspended sentence. In addition, his mobile phone was confiscated.
