A man from Kharkiv bought a fake certificate of unfitness - a court verdict

The Chutivsky District Court has decided to punish a resident of the village of Smorodshchyna, Chutivsky community. He committed a crime related to the acquisition and submission of forged documents to the military medical commission.

This is reported in the Unified State Register of Court Decisions.

Case Details

According to the case materials, the accused purchased forged documents via the Internet, which certified his unfitness for military service. As the investigation found out, he purchased the forgery near the “Studentska” metro station in Kharkiv. After receiving these documents, he applied to the territorial center for recruitment and social support in order to legalize them.

What the court decided

The court found the actions of the accused illegal and qualified them as forgery of documents, as provided for by the Criminal Code of Ukraine.  Given the nature of the offense, the court imposed a fine of 1,700 hryvnias on the accused.
