The FIQ delegates approved the draft agreement that was concluded with Quebec earlier this week.

Meeting in federal council on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, the delegates of the Fédération interprofessionnelle de la santé du Québec (FIQ) finally spoke out in a vote on Thursday evening.

Quebec and the FIQ came to this proposed agreement to renew the collective agreements, on the night of Monday to Tuesday, after more than 15 months of negotiations and a few days of strike.

The Federal Council stage having passed, it will now be up to the members to decide, during a referendum vote. This will be preceded by information meetings on the content of the proposal for members.

In a message on Facebook Thursday evening, the FIQ indicates that the proposed agreement will be presented at a local general assembly, and that the voting period is scheduled for April 10, 11 and 12.
