Fraudsters are calling residents of the Kirovohrad region and asking for money for the military on behalf of the heads of district administrations

In Kirovohrad region today, December 4, the heads of the Kropyvnytsky and Holovanivsky district military administrations, Vitaly Pastushenko and Igor Koverdyaga, reported that scammers are acting on their behalf.

In a comment on Access Point Vitaly Pastushenko told – about the fact that scammers are calling people on his behalf, he was informed by his acquaintances. This happened today.

On behalf of the head of the district military administration, money was requested for the military. The calls came in via Viber.

Vitaly Pastushenko contacted the police and published a warning on his Facebook page.

I have received repeated calls from a person who introduced himself as me, asking for material assistance for the military.  I ask you not to respond to such requests and provocations. This fact is being investigated by human rights activists.

Also today, similar calls were reported to the Holovanivka District Administration.

Yes, scammers on behalf of the head of the RVA, Igor Koverdyaga, called people and asked for money for the military.

Attention entrepreneurs, businessmen and farmers. If you have received such a call, contact the Holovanivka RVA or call in person. Check the information, contact human rights defenders and do not let yourself be deceived, – they noted on the RBA website.

This is not the first case in the Kirovohrad region when scammers on behalf of officials extort money. Previously, Access Point wrote that in this way, scammers asked for money on behalf of the head of the Kirovohrad OVA Andriy Raykovych and the head of the main department of the state tax service in the Kirovohrad region Yulia Moroz.

In October, an unknown person created a duplicate account of the deputy head of the Kirovohrad regional military administration Kateryna Koltunova on the Telegram social network and asked for money on her behalf.
