The Queen of Great Britain will return to work at Buckingham Palace in October. Elizabeth II and her 99-year-old husband Prince Philip have shortened their Scottish summer holidays in Sandringham and are ready to return to London, writes the Daily Mail.
Her Majesty and the Duke of Edinburgh usually remain in Balmoral, Aberdeenshire, until next month, but now unexpectedly leave earlier, according to the royal couple.
Buckingham Palace has confirmed that the queen hopes to resume business meetings in London in October for the first time since the coronavirus pandemic began in March this year.

Next week, she and Philip will travel from Balmoral to Norfolk to “spend time alone” at Sandringham Estate, where the Duke spends most of his time at Wood Farm.
The Queen will then return to Windsor in October for working visits to Buckingham Palace.
The official statement reads: “The Queen and Duke of Edinburgh will leave Balmoral Castle for a week starting September 14 to spend time at Sandringham Estate. Her Majesty intends to return to Windsor Castle in October and resume business visits and meetings. These plans will be continually revised. and will of course be subject to all relevant guidance and advice. ”
Recall that 99-year-old Prince Philip appeared in public for the first time in a long time. Earlier, the granddaughters of Elizabeth II showed themselves without makeup.
