Information about those arrested, but subsequently never released from the isolation wards, is provided by the Belarusian Association of Journalists. We are talking about arrests that took place in Minsk over the weekend. In addition, they took some other media representatives to police stations, some of them confiscated their personal belongings and mobile devices, but after a few hours they were released.
In total, during the protests that took place on the streets of Belarus last Sunday, the security forces managed to detain over 774 citizens, which is confirmed in the statement of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Most of them, more than 500 people, were arrested in Minsk. There were also detentions in Brest, Vitebsk, Grodno, Mogilev, etc.
