I’m 6.619 i new cases of coronavirus in Italy (yesterday there were 6,171, here the bulletin). It goes up like this at least 4.343.519 the number of people who have contracted the SARS-CoV-2 virus (including recovered and died) since the outbreak began. THE deaths today I’m 18 (yesterday there were 19), for a total of 128,047 victims from February 2020. People recovered or discharged they are altogether 4.132.510 e 2.117 those that came out of the Covid nightmare today (1,825 yesterday). The positive current – the subjects who have the virus – turn out to be in everything 82.962, equal to 4.478 more than yesterday (+4.323 the day before).
The swabs and the scenario
I total swabs (molecular and antigenic) were 247.486, or 22,696 more than yesterday when it was 224,790. While the rate of positivity 2,7% (the approximation of 2.67%); like yesterday when it was 2.7%. Here is the map of the contagion in Italy.
More infections in 24 hours than yesterday, with the case-on-test ratio remaining stable at 2.7% (like yesterday), above 2% for the third consecutive day. The curve should be at the weekly peak of its swing. The infection is growing – explains Silvio Brusaferro, president of the Higher Institute of Health, commenting on the weekly report -. The circulation of the virus especially in the younger groups between 10 and 29 years. With the Delta variant which has a prevalence of 94.8% and the Rt index which rose to 1.57 from the previous 1.26. The “projected” RT, that is, the one expected for next week, shows a stabilization – underlines Brusaferro -. a figure to be confirmed, but we are above the epidemic threshold. As for a possible color change in the regions, Brusaferro says: Today it is difficult to make predictions, next week we will have a more defined picture.
The Veneto has the greatest number of newly infected and surpasses share one thousand. For over two months, no region has seen a four-digit increase. The last one in spring was there Lombardy and it was May 20. The Veneto communicates +1,046 cases thanks to over 42,000 swabs – the highest number of regional tests of the day – with a rate of 2.5% which is lower than the national one. Follows the Lazio with over 800 new positives (+845 cases with a 2.8% rate). To have more than 700 infections are: Sicily (+724 cases with a rate of 5.47%) e Tuscany (+720 cases with 5.3% rate).

The highest number of deaths in Campania: 5, of which 4 previous ones related to the period between November and May, as indicated in the note *.
