It's been over four years since the first model was released. While Apple has added new color options, the device's specifications haven't changed. Now, the HomePod mini 2 is finally expected to be released – its presentation is scheduled for the end of 2025.

AirPods Pro 3

Last update: September 2022

It seems unfair to say that AirPods Pro are rarely updated, as Apple is constantly adding new features at the software level. However, from a hardware perspective, the headphones are updated every three years – and this trend will continue with the release of AirPods Pro 3 in September 2025.

AirPods Pro 3 are expected to receive:

  • new design
  • the first chip in the series H3
  • possible heart rate sensor
  • improved noise cancellation and additional audio features

Apple Watch SE 3

Last update: September 2022

The budget Apple Watch SE model, like the iPhone SE, will receive a new version this year. Not much is known about the Apple Watch SE 3 yet, but it is expected to inherit several features from the more modern models, including a new processor and possibly additional health sensors.

Traditionally, Apple announces new Apple Watch SE models in September alongside its flagship smartwatch. However, this time an early launch is possible – for example, in the spring, simultaneously with the iPhone SE.

New Apple TV 4K

Last update: November 2022

Apple TV is probably one of the company's most unstable updated products. If you look at the history of releases, the gaps between generations have been extremely unpredictable: 3.5 years, 1.5 years, 1 year, 2.5 years, 2 years, 4 years, 1 year. It's been over two years since the last model was released, and it looks like it'll be about three years before the next update.

According to Mark Gurman, the new Apple TV 4K will be released in late 2025 – likely in October or November. It is known that the device will receive a new Wi-Fi and Bluetooth chip, as well as a significantly more powerful processor. This could prepare the platform for future Apple Intelligence features in tvOS.
