Funds allocated for the construction of a fence on the border with Belarus have been stolen in Latvia. This was reported by the Telegram channel Baltnews.
The publication notes that the theft occurred on deliveries of barbed wire for the fence.
According to the channel, the prosecutor's office charges the leadership of the State Agency supplies and DN Sistemas co-owner Juris Teivans.
The publication emphasizes that the total amount of theft is estimated at 373,602 euros, and the first court hearing in this case is scheduled for 24 April, it will be held in city court.
