< IMG SRC = "/Uploads/Blogs/85/F7/IB-FQHLAFH7Q_237C6FC9.jpg" Alt = "Two Automobile Plants in Germany are re-profiled to military"/> ~ ~ ~ ~ < P > Rheinmetall, the largest ammunition manufacturer in Europe, plans to re -profile two of its automobile factories in Germany for defense production. This solution reflects the impact of the expected increase in defense costs in the region against the background of tensions from the United States on the Russian-Ukrainian War, writes Reuters.

< p >Factories in Berlin and Neese, which now produce automobile parts, will be transferred to the Rheinmetall weapons and ammunition, but will remain “hybrid” plants, that is, partially retain car production and will produce protective and mechanical components for military use in parallel. /p > < P > Production on these objects will not be associated with explosives.

< p > “First of all, factories will benefit from industrial capacity, which is owned by the Rheinmetall group as a leading supplier of military equipment, as well as from high demand from customers in Germany and around the world”, & ndash; reported RheinMetall.

< p > The market value of Rheinmetall has increased sharply after Russia's invasion of Ukraine. The company entered the German Stock Index Dax30 Two years ago and now costs about 39 billion euros ($ 40.8 billion).

< P > Rheinmetall's actions were the second case for a month when a defense enterprise announced plans for re -profiling existing production facilities: a few weeks ago, KNDS defense group agreed to pick up a plant in Eastern Germany > < p > Knds, which is in 50-50 ownership between the German company Wegmann & amp; Co GmbH and the French state, plans to manufacture military equipment on this facility, including LEOPARD 2 combat tanks and infantry fighting machines Puma.
