The European football champion of 1964 in the team of Spain Luis Suarez died at the age of 88. This was reported by the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF). The cause of death has not been specified.

Luis Suarez played as a midfielder. During his playing career, he played for the Spanish Deportivo. (1953-1954) and “Barcelona” (1954-1961), as well as the Italian “Inter” (1961-1970) and “Sampdoria” (1970-1973). Suarez became the first Spanish player to move to the Italian championship.
