11 Russian children who had previously returned home from Syria were officially handed over to their relatives. The relevant information was provided by Anna Kuznetsova, Ombudsman for the Rights of the Child.

As the Ombudsman pointed out, minors were finally able to return to their relatives living in Kabardino-Balkaria, as well as Dagestan. Kuznetsova also drew attention to the fact that four more children taken away from the SAR remain in the hospital, at the same time there is no threat to their lives. In the near future, it is planned to visit them, and a plan for further treatment will be discussed with the doctors.
Earlier it was reported that with the assistance of the Ombudsman, 15 children returned to the Russian Federation. Prior to that, they were detained in the camps Al-Hol and Roj. Those who were injured remain in the medical facility, their condition is stable.
